EllaRAMSBOTTOMof Waterside Terrace, Bacup passed away at Haslingden Hall Care Home on December 9, aged 97 years.
Ella worked in the printing trade all her life – Shepherd and Markham then retired from Howard and Hargreaves, Bacup.
She was an avid reader being a member of Bacup Library for 86 years. She loved knitting and spending time with her family, travelling the country, particularly Scotland and the North East.
Ella leaves behind her son Phillip, daughters-in-law Christine and Patricia. Granddaughter Kim and her husband Andrew. Great-granddaughter Aimee, late sister Norma, late husband Leslie, late son-in-law Peter. Late granddaughter Jennifer and many friends.
A celebration of life service will take place at Burnley Crematorium on Wednesday, December 20 at 2.30pm, conducted by Neil Overton. Everyone is invited to join the family after the service at the Bacup Cricket Club for refreshments and to share memories of Ella.
