Thank you to the many who sent cards of sympathy, flowers and messages of condolence as well as those who made generous donations to Springhill Hospice. Thanks especially to Wendy, the team of District Nurses, palliative care nurses and the Routes carers team for their care given to John. Thanks also to The Christie and Wellfield Health Centre for their medical care and support. The family would also like to express their appreciation to Bernadette Nuttall, who conducted a beautiful service and Peter Shrigley for his special tribute to John. Also grateful thanks to Hedley Jackson who conducted themselves with great dignity during this difficult time.
