GeraldRAWSONof Hammond Avenue, Stacksteads, died on Thursday, December 10, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 94. He leaves his beloved wife Sheila, of 71 years. After leaving the army he worked as a spinner in the cotton industry. In his early years he loved his motorbikes on which he and Sheila would travel to the South Coast on holiday. In later years they used to enjoy holidays in Scarborough. He was a big fan of music, especially Frank Sinatra and brass bands, and used to love to sing and dance.
