Sylvia MaryREAYIt is with with great sadness that the family of Sylvia announce her passing on the 24th October 2024. Much loved sister, mother, grandma, great grandma, aunt, cousin, friend, nurse and midwife.

The funeral service will be held at Our Lady and St Oswin's Tynemouth, at 12 Midday on the 13th November 2024. Followed by a short family service at Tynemouth Crematorium.

All family and friends are welcome to The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth to share their fondest memories and celebrate Sylvia's amazing life.

Please feel free to wear a bit of sparkle to remember her by.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St Oswald's Hospice, MacMillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie, a collection box will be available in the church.

Sylvia was an inspiration to all, her joy for living, kindness to others, wise words and absolute fun disposition made her the best friend anyone could wish for. I loved her so much and will miss our times together. Thinking of Sue, Anna and all of the family. Xxx much love Gill xxx
