LenREED(Gateshead) Peacefully at home on 5th June aged 79 years, Len, dearest husband of the late Margaret, dearly loved brother of Kathleen and Patricia, a loving uncle and also a dear dad and grandad. Len will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Would friends please meet for service at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 21st June at 12 noon. By request family flowers only, donations if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support. A donation box will be available at the crematorium. All enquiries to Watson's Funeral Directors Ltd. Gateshead. Len you were a one off that's for sure, kind funny and always there. You were a brilliant Pal to my uncle Geordie and I know how gutted you were when he passed away, you were with him until the end as he would say my owld pal.. I'm sure you's will be telling each other the * off already. Sleep easy Len.. xx love The Babby, Emma and Chris

Uncle Len, you may be gone but your legacy lives on in the many lives you affected, including mine. You treat me like a daughter and I will never forget the love, kindness and support you gave me.

I do hope that there is plenty of John Smiths wherever you are as you have got some serious catching up to do.
