Charles Ian MaxwellREEKIE(Newcastle) Peacefully at Lanercost House care home in Carlisle on Tuesday 8th September 2020, aged 84. Up to the last, Ian in particular still enjoyed his childhood memories of Garrigill, his school Abbotsholme, and McGill University (Canada). He will be missed by brothers Andrew and Hugh, sister Shirley, his wife Joy and his three children Ellen, Susan and John, his grandchildren, along with Ian's other many family and friends. Funeral service to be held at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday 18th September. Thank you to the staff at Lanercost House for all their care and kindness over the last 3 years.
