Alan JohnREIDPassed away peacefully in his sleep aged 89 years.

Reunited with his loving wife Norma, Much loved dad of Simon, dear father in law of Lucy, adored grandad of Laura and Daniel and great grandad to Luca.

Funeral Service and Cremation at Thornton Crematorium on Friday 25th October at 2.15 pm.

"Please dress in a colourful manner to celebrate his colourful personality"

Family flowers only please but donations can be made to Age UK in memory of Alan.

Alan was a treasure. A charming, caring, friendly gentleman.
He could be a flirt with the ladies and had his own contraband deals going on!! (pickled gherkins etc)
He was a funny, kind, happy man who cheered us all up.
We all have a special place in our hearts for our Alan...One of a kind. X X X

With much love to my “absolutely brilliant” Uncle and God Father, your warmth, wisdom, endless non pc tales and wicked sense of humour have been a constant throughout the lives of me, Jack, Soph and Cam.
Loving brother to Shelia and Ann and the rock of the whole family. I will miss our debates, the randomness of our chats and your big bear hugs.
