Peacefully on 28th June 2026 aged 91 years Stewart beloved husband of the late Shirley, a loving father of Angela and David, also a dear father in law of Ronnie, an adored grandad of Emma, Joshua and Hannah, a dearly missed brother of David and the late Dorothy, Bill and Harry.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at West Road Cemetery Chapel on Thursday 16th July at 1.15pm followed by interment at Heaton Cemetery.

All welcome afterwards for refreshments at The Millstone, South Gosforth, NE3 1QL.

Although we couldn't be there in person, our family watched the beautiful service from Nova Scotia. It was a touching tribute to a life well lived, and we're so grateful we could be part of saying our final goodbye.

Rest peacefully, Uncle Stewart. I'm so thankful for the time we shared together. You will always be remembered with love, warmth, and gratitude.

Sending all our love to Angela, Ronnie, Emma, Joshua, Hannah, and all of our family in Newcastle. ❤️
