AnthonyRENTONMr Anthony (Tony) Renton, of Accrington, passed away on Friday, September 16, aged 74. Tony joined the Royal Navy straight from school and served for 12 years. He then worked as an electronics engineer and manager for Siemens Ltd and later for Rockwell International. He enjoyed quality time with his family; he was an active member of Woodnook Baptist Church which became part of Trinity Community Church, Captain of 2nd Accrington Boys Brigade Company. Tony helped too at the Woodnook Centre Breakfast Club. He was also involved in the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Parkinson’s Support Group. He was a loving husband to Hazel, devoted father to Kevin and Kay, father-in-law to Jess and David, cherished grandad to Jacob, Saul and Flora, a much loved brother and uncle. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 28 at Trinity Community Church, Accrington conducted by Reverend Paul McNally.
