SidREVEREND SIDNEY RIGGSThank you to all who shared their care and friendship during this time. The Service at St Mary Magdalene on 6th April was indeed a joyous and thankful occasion - made more pleasant by the sun joining us. I know there were many unable to join us who, around the UK and across the world, were pausing for a time of reflection. It was good of those who joined us at the Crematorium to accompany Sid on his last journey - a time he thought was important. A special Thank You to Revd Peggy Ludlow for her advice, care and handling the Service with great empathy. It was good that friends agreed to help in the Service:- Revd Canon Dr Michael Tucker for the Address, Organist Stephen Power, Singers Tina, Elizabeth and Michael Power and Ian Harrold, Trumpeter Chic Webb and The RGHYA for the Guard of Honour. Thank you also to The Flower Shop and The Bread Basket for their kindness and skill and to all the staff of Fred Stevens Funeral Directors for their care and professionalism. The cards and letters have been a pleasure to receive - often sharing a snapshot of a moment in your lives. David joins me in thanking you all for your care and friendship. Jean Riggs
