RosalynREYNOLDSRos sadly passed away on the 19th July 2022, aged 62 years. A beloved wife, mother, sister and Nana. She is survived by her husband Kevin, children Daniel and Samantha and 6 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday 18th August at Loughborough Crematorium. Family flowers only. Any donations would be gratefully received by Loros Hospice, Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9QE. My beautiful and fun friend who I miss so much 💔

Ros worked within Leicestershire County Council for over 25 years and before she retired in January 2021 she had worked as a community support worker at Pennine House for many of those years.

Ros was one of life’s true diamonds and was at the very heart of our team , she was fiercely loyal, dedicated to her job and always went over and above to help colleagues/friends and the older people and families of Charnwood.

Those that knew her best will remember fondly her unique way of handling complaints, her straight talking, no messing, profound use of a well known swear word and my office door crashing open on a regular basis to share her frustration of the day or her latest quark based slimming world cake.

Ros was so looking forward to her retirement and after only a matter of months was faced with the biggest battle of her life which she fought hard and with such bravery, she reminded me on many occasions over the last year that life is too short and of the need to love and live life to the full.

Ros was our colleague, our friend and my very much loved and valued friend.

Rest in peace Ros 💜💜💜
