Grahame CharlesRHODESGrahame Charles Rhodes (Late of Borrowash) A "Gentle Giant." British Motor Bike Racer, Precision engineer, and the Tallest Rider to win the Manx Grand Prix Classic Senior Race, Isle of Man, in 2005. He is a world-renowned restorer of Classic Motor Bikes," the Real Mr Velocette." Sadly, passed away suddenly but peacefully in his sleep, at home in Borrowash on Friday 24th February 2023, aged 63 years. We miss you so much and will never stop loving and missing you. Son of Christine and Ivan Rhodes, loving and devoted Partner of Frances. A dear and much-loved brother of Adrian and Dad to Claire and Sam. Grahame will be sadly missed by all his extended family and friends. On Tuesday 17th October, his final ride will leave his home, 34A, Derby Road, Borrowash, DE72 3HA at 10:00am. A service will be held at Elim Pentecostal Church, Moor Street, Burton-on- Trent DE14 3SU, at 11:00am. The committal will be at Dale Hill Natural Burial Ground, Dale Rd, Ockbrook, Derby, DE72 3RY at 1pm. Following this there will be a celebration of Grahame's life at the White Swan Inn, 19 Church Street, Ockbrook, Derby, DE72 3RB Motorcyclists are being invited to ride out and escort Grahame on his final run. Please liaise with the Coop Funeral Home Borrowash, 01332 661595,to confirm arrangements. So sad that Grahame has left this world……..used to hang around his house and get into all sorts of mischief like throwing firefighters into the guttering……his dad took it well even though the guttering was shafted!
