RICHARD LARKINLance Corporal Richard Larkin, aged 39, was one of four soldiers killed by a roadside explosion while on operations in Afghanistan on 17 June, 2008. He was with the TA SAS 23 Brigade.
L/Cpl Larkin, Corporal Sarah Bryant, Corporal Sean Robert Reeve and Paul Stout died near Lashkar Gah, the capital of the Helmand province, on 17 June, 2008, when their vehicle, a Snatch Landrover, was caught by an explosion. A fifth soldier was wounded by the blast.
