A true gentleman who I have shared friendship with over the past five years or so. We enjoyed many hours chatting about our shared interest in sixties music and the stars of that era. He worked tirelessly over this period of time as a sponsor for the award of an MBE to Mike Pender of The Searchers. This was achieved in fact earlier this year. He had a passion for what he believed in and never gave up in his quest for this honour to be awarded.
I will miss our chats and the quirky habit we had of sending each other random postcards as a way of just keeping in touch.
