In memory of dear Aunty Mona, we shared a love of everything sweet especially lemon drizzle cake! You always knew the best shops to find delicious biscuits, cakes and chocolate. I will continue to make lemon drizzle using your recipe and we’ll be remembering you in our prayers as we mix our Christmas cake up in your enormous bowl. Thank you for all the laughs and tears, kindness and friendship. You will be sadly missed. Love Caroline x

In memory my dear friend Mona, from the first day of starting work when I was 16 you were like a mother hen with a heart of gold, and a helping,when we had our days out in town we had laughter and tears along the way, going to be sadly missed love Carol, big hugs as always. xx

Mona, you were one of the first people my fiancee, Angela, introduced me to in the North East in 2007. Since then you have always been thoughtful and generous to me and my growing family.
It is not coincidental that you died on 2nd November, of all days. You had a deep, orthodox faith.
May the Angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs greet you at your arrival and lead you into the holy city, Jerusalem.
May the choir of Angels greet you and like Lazarus, who once was a poor man, may you have eternal rest.
