On Your 80th Birthday, Remembering A Very Special Mum

Today is your 80th Birthday Mum,
A day I find hard
You never wanted fuss
but always loved your cards.
It breaks my heart to know that
you're no longer here.
I know before this day has passed
I'll shed a tear,
I never cease to miss you Mum,
or never cease to care.
For in the corners of my heart
you will stay forever there.
I love you so much Mum,
far more than I can ever say,
and I hope that all the Angels sing for you,
on this your special day

Without you at Christmas

There's a little place within my heart
That is with me everyday,
A place where all my memories
Are softly tucked away.

It is the perfect place
At special times for me to go,
