RubyRITSONRuby sadly passed away in Sutton Grange Care Home, Banks, Southport, aged 95 on Monday 9th December. Loving wife of the late Arthur Ritson, devoted mother and grandmother. Born and bred in Aldershot, Ruby worked in a number of positions before joining Timothy Whites & Taylors in the early 1960's. Following a takeover by Boots the Chemist, Ruby helped to establish the Personnel Department, where she would then work for nearly 30 years before her retirement in the early 1990's. After the passing of their eldest son Martin, in 2006, Ruby & Arthur relocated to the village of Tarleton in West Lancashire, so that they could be close to their remaining son & grandchildren. She enjoyed her new life in Lancashire, volunteering in the local hospice charity shop, getting involved with a number of local groups & societies, including singing in the 'Magic Moments' choir. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service to be held at West Lancashire Crematorium, Pippin Street, Burscough, Lancashire, L40 7SP, on Tuesday 7th January at 11:00am. All are welcome to attend.
