Thinking of you

Dearest friend,
We are thinking of you as your birthday approaches, 26rh September. Joe would have been 100 years old on September 1st.....I think you would have told him he was in short pants!
God Bless you and keep you,
Yours as ever, Jean and Ruth

Happy Birthday Bob!

Thankyou for all your love and friendship and supporting us in the Music!
I miss you so much and hope that you are with all your loved ones and have caught up with my Mum too!
Franz Lehar's Land of Smiles Overture and a good piano arrangement of Gershwin's The Man I Love just on the radio as I write - very apt in memory of a wonderful Friend and Scottish Dad!!!
Love from Jean and your army pal Joe R.E. although you were R.A. xxx

My Uncle Bobby

A tribute to my Uncle Bobby, sister of my Mom Lucy Curtis. I only met you 3 times but each time I was inspired, once as a 5 year old with your sense of humour, once as 14 year old boy impressed by your gentleness and then when you were much older and you told me how you had gone for violin lessons. Thank for inspiring me as young man, as I pass through the middle passage I will always have your memories.

Thinking of Dear Friend and Great Musician

Dear Bob,
We are thinking of you as the promise of Spring fills the air and the first snowdrops
are brightening the earth. May your dear soul continue to enjoy the music of the spheres.
Love from us both
