Although Mike held several senior leadership roles, there was no pomp in him at all. A genuinely good bloke, generous with his time and always willing to help. My thoughts are with Jules and his other loved ones. Rest in peace, Mike.

Such a loss, a really good, talented and hard working man, doctor and rugby supporter. I knew of his excellent reputation as a fellow GP and also his sense of humour from sharing the stadium doctor role at Kingsholm.
