Former lecturer at Glyndwr University, Wrexham, Deacon of Capel-Y-Groes, well known as a highly accomplished harp restorer and choir master. Due to current restrictions, a private funeral service will be held. Whilst in my second year of Sixth Form at Ysgol Glan Clwyd, Derwyn Roberts called to discuss a course in OND Building that they were offering to students. Little did I know that joining that course would lead to a career in Civil Engineering that lasted some 42 years. One quote of his that has stuck with me through the years is “Courtesy costs nothing”. How true and one I repeat to others. A true gentleman. Cofion cynnes. Medwyn Williams
