RIP Stan, so many happy memories of my time in Liverpool Harriers. You were an amazing coach and could see the potential even if we couldn’t see it ourselves. You will be missed but your memory will live on in so many people

What a wonderful man. He will be sadly missed by so many he helped through the years. I, as have many, have fond memories from my Harriers athletics days with Stan, and as the Merseyside schools manager. He was one of the most approachable kind men ever. I’m sure he is at peace now after his battle. Rest easy Stan xx
