Catherine MargaretROBERTSOf Gwynfryn, Segontium Road South, Caernarfon passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor on August 7th, 2024 aged 90 years.

Megan suffered from Alzheimer's disease and dementia for several years. She was lovingly cared for by her daughter in law Ann for the last 2 years. Megan was predeceased by her son Phillip in 1983, her husband Thomas Elwyn in 2011 and daughter in law Verity in 2024. She is survived by her 3 sons, Keith, Alan, Kevin and daughter Lynda and daughters in law Ann and Marilyn, son in law Denis, grandchildren Donna, Lynne, Alan, Mark, Wayne, Jennifer, Liam, Catherine, Lucien and Glyn, great grandchildren Byron, Llion, Clio, James and Ela. Megan grew up in Carmel then moved to Caernarfon in her late teens. She was a member of The Royal Observer Corps and was based at The Operations Room in Caernarfon Castle during the 1940's. Megan's most prominent workplace was with the Veterinary Practice in Caernarfon where she worked for 30 years. After retirement, Megan was secretary of Caernarfon's Allotment Service. The funeral service will be held at Llanbeblig Church, Caernarfon on Thursday August 22nd at 11am, following which she will be laid to rest at The New Cemetery, Llanbeblig Road, Caernarfon.
