Dad,
How I long to hear your voice again,
The deep, warm rumble that always brought me comfort.
I miss the way you'd wave goodbye from the car,
Watching until you disappeared from view.
Our little chats, our playful antics -
I cherish each moment we shared.
Sneaking sweet treats, devouring ice cream and cake,
Your gentle guidance on the wonders of this world.
Your wisdom, your kindness, your unwavering love -
These are the things I hold closest to my heart.
A piece of me is missing without you here,
But I know you live on, deep within.
Though you're gone from this earth, your spirit remains.
I feel your presence, hear your voice whispering near.
Until we meet again, I'll carry you with me,
Remembering the extraordinary father you were.
I miss you, Dad. Every minute of every day.
But I find solace in the times we had together.
You are forever in my heart, my guiding light,
My hero, my comfort, my everything.
