Gerard EdwardROBERTSIn Loving Memory of Ged
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Ged.
A much-loved dad to Caitlyn and Christy, brother to Anne, Bernie, Daniel, Francis, Paul and Clare. Brother in law, uncle and friend to many. Ged was one of a kind. He was funny, stubborn, fiercely loyal and never afraid to stand up for what he believed in or for the people he cared about. He had a huge heart, a quick wit, and a way of making people laugh, even in the most difficult times. Those who knew him will remember his strength, his generosity and the love he had for his family.
Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Ged is now reunited with our beloved mum and dad, Danny and Beryl, and our brother, Fran. While that thought brings us some peace, the space he leaves behind in our lives can never be filled.
Ged's funeral service will take place on Thursday 9th July at 1:00 pm at Landican Crematorium.
Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to join the family at The Magazines Pub to celebrate Ged's life. We'd love you to come along, share your memories, tell your stories, raise a glass and remember the man who meant so much to so many.
Family flowers only, please. Ged was a passionate supporter of WaterAid and many other international charitable causes. If you wish to honour his memory, donations to WaterAid would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
On behalf of all of Ged's family, thank you for the love, kindness and support you've shown us during this incredibly difficult time. It has brought us great comfort. ❤️❤️❤️
Sleep peacefully, Ged. YNWA
You will be loved always, missed beyond words, and remembered forever.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💔
