Dear Joan.
I unfortunately can't be there today to pay my last respects, I am helping someone with something which I think you would understand and approve of.
But I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you being there for me when my Dad passed away recently. There are unfortunately not as many people left in the world at the moment who are as kind, caring and compassionate as you.
Not only that but I am going to miss seeing you walking down the street, even tho I was always rushing around it was nice when you would shout hello across the road, I will miss that.
Until recently I didn't really fully believe that you go to another place when you die. But when I visited my Dad in the mourtary I realised something different in me. I know that there is something else, somewhere and I am sure we will meet again somewhere, sometime.
I will stop what I am doing at 11 and say a little prey for you.
Rest in peace Joan, you will be dearly missed by a lot of people here in Loftus.
From Damian, Joyce and Oliver.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Joan’s death. She was a valued regular visitor at Loftus Library. She supported events organised by the Friends of Loftus Library. She believed in the importance of libraries and many other community organisations, very happy to support the RNLI in her memory.
