GeoffreyROBERTSHAW17th August 2019, aged 83 Passed away peacefully in his sleep. Loving father of Susan, Michael and Julie, Grandfather to seven and great grandfather to five. Funeral at St Catherine's Church, Eyton, Shrops on 2nd Sept at 11.00.

I wonder if this is the Geoffrey Robertshaw of Crossland Moore that I met in Aug/Sep 1944. Along with my mother & sister we stayed with Geoffrey & his mother after being bombed out by a V1 Doodlebug in Croydon. He was 8 & I was 9 & I have clear memories of that time. If this tallies I can only say how sad it is to find this

Geoff was a lovely man. Genuinely kind, caring and a good laugh. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. One of my Dad’s best mates from the old MEB days. He never forgot about my folks and even when my Dad’s health started to decline he’d cheer them up with a trip to the pub. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
