AnthonyROBINS (Dr)Passed away peacefully aged 82 surrounded by his children. Beloved husband of the late Ann Robins, dearly loved Father of Carolyn, Joanne and James and adored Grandfather and Great-Grandfather of many. A Clinical Biochemist who gave decades of dedicated service to the NHS and always held his birthplace, North Wales, close to his heart. Funeral service to be held in Manchester, Thursday 6th October. Grandpa, the smartest, kindest and loving grandpa there ever was. Thank you for everything, the hugs, the pats on the back, the interest in my job, the smiles on your face when I told you good news, most of all our phone calls, I wish we could have just one more call talking about our days, the music you have listened to, the programmes you’ve watched, what you were having for lunch, what train station james was working near, what Vinny and groot the dog were getting up to, or laughing ridiculously about custard creams, you always put a smile on my face. It was a great blessing for us all in the Welsh chapels to have the calm, contented presence of Anthony in our midst during the last decade of his life, we will miss him & his kind phone calls too. He had so many connections with many of us from college - even school - days.
All our condolences to his loving family and thanks to God for his life and work.
