Joseph WilliamROBINSONOn Friday 4th November 2022, Joseph William (Bill), aged 90, passed away in University Hospital Durham. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Iris and his two sons Geoffrey and Ian. He was born on April 13th 1932 in Grange Villa and grew up in Chester-le-Street. Known as Joe Robinson in his formative years, he played for a number of football teams including South Shields, Newcastle United, West Stanley and Hartlepool. He worked as a builder and went on to have a long and respected career as an estates manager for the NHS in County Durham. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. Funeral Service will be at the Holy Trinity Church Pelton on Tuesday 29th November at 10:15am, prior to cremation at Birtley Crematorium.
