His funeral service will be held at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Friday September 8th at 12pm. Refreshments to follow at The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth. Family flowers only, donations in lieu can be made to Stroke Association. A collection box will be available on the day. There is a road, no simple highway, Between the dawn and the dark of night, And if you go, no one may follow, That path is for your steps alone.
