Winsome NeresaROBINSONAffectionately known as Anne, peacefully passed away on the 26th of April, at the age of 73. She was a cherished Mother to Maxine and Aaron, Grandmother to Shannique, Tyrell and Noah, Mother-in-Law, Sister to 10, Auntie and a dear friend to many.

Born in Westmoreland, Jamaica on March 14th, 1951, Winsome's journey led her to Coventry at the age of fifteen, where she embraced independence and perseverance. Renowned for her role as a bar manager at Park Lane and Mr. Georges in the 70s and 80s, Winsome made history as one of Coventry's first black barmaids, serving renowned celebrities and paving her path with distinction.

Winsome's devotion to family was unwavering. She raised her children, Maxine and Aaron, with boundless love and instilled in them values of independence and integrity. Even as a single mother, she found time to volunteer at charities, touching many lives along the way. In her later years, Winsome found joy in being a grandmother and continued to spread laughter and kindness wherever she went.

Though she has left this world, Winsome's spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched.

Funeral Service to take place on Friday 7th June at 10:30 am Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium All who knew Winsome are welcome to attend. Formal dress attire requested.

Flowers welcome and donations, if desired, may be made to MIND or Red Cross via the online memorial website www.muchloved.com and would be gratefully received.

On behalf of our family, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who attended my mother’s funeral and contributed so generously to the charity donations box.

Your kindness and support during this difficult time have been a source of great comfort to us. We are deeply moved by the outpouring of love and compassion shown in honor of my mother’s memory.

I am pleased to inform you that the donations collected will be given to two charities close to our hearts: Mind and the British Red Cross. These organisations do incredible work, and your contributions will help them continue their vital efforts.

Thank you once again for your generosity and support. It means the world to us and would have meant so much to my mother.

With sincere appreciation,
