Winsome NeresaROBINSONAffectionately known as Anne, peacefully passed away on the 26th of April, at the age of 73. She was a cherished Mother to Maxine and Aaron, Grandmother to Shannique, Tyrell and Noah, Mother-in-Law, Sister to 10, Auntie and a dear friend to many.
Born in Westmoreland, Jamaica on March 14th, 1951, Winsome's journey led her to Coventry at the age of fifteen, where she embraced independence and perseverance. Renowned for her role as a bar manager at Park Lane and Mr. Georges in the 70s and 80s, Winsome made history as one of Coventry's first black barmaids, serving renowned celebrities and paving her path with distinction.
Winsome's devotion to family was unwavering. She raised her children, Maxine and Aaron, with boundless love and instilled in them values of independence and integrity. Even as a single mother, she found time to volunteer at charities, touching many lives along the way. In her later years, Winsome found joy in being a grandmother and continued to spread laughter and kindness wherever she went.
Though she has left this world, Winsome's spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
Funeral Service to take place on Friday 7th June at 10:30 am Cannon Hill Chapel, Canley Crematorium All who knew Winsome are welcome to attend. Formal dress attire requested.
