An amazing granddad. I saw him as a real life Gandalf, magical, kind and full of spirit.
He always put effort into making us laugh and sharing his life joys with us. From gardening to train spotting, he made everything seem like a fun adventure.
The world doesn't feel real with him gone.
But he taught me how to see beauty in all things. That's my granddad's legacy.
Love you Granddad. Always and forever.

Dave always looked after me as a young child and was a very supportive brother .
I remember when I was 15 and started college he bought me a "slide rule " which after 61 years I still have as a treasured possession.
I will always miss him and he has been in my life since I was born .😥
