Loving husband to Jean, father of Hilary and Denise. Grandfather to Mark, Emma and Jack.
Brother in law of Hilda and father in law of Chris.
Reunited with his twin Don and sister in law Gloria.

Former member of the Boys Brigade 53rd, 41st and 66th companies. Sure and Steadfast.

Funeral service is to be held at St Mary's Church, West Derby Village on Friday 31st July at 12 noon followed by burial at West Derby Cemetery at 1pm.

No flowers by request, if desired donations to Diabetes UK.

It was with greatv sadness to hear of Doug’s passing. Sending sincere condolences to Jean and all the family. Doug along with his brother Don were a big part of my youth. In the choir at St Timothys with Doug and with them both at the 41st Boys Brigade at St Ambrose Church. Now with Don.Rest in Peace Doug.

Sending all our love and condolences to you all at this very sad time. It was a pleasure to us both to have spent some small time with Doug over the years. Always very welcoming and witty at the same time.His music now will be heard through the great organ pipes above.
