Caerwyn EifionRODERICKPeacefully on Sunday Oct 16, 2011 at the University Hospital of Wales, Caerwyn of Rhiwbina, Cardiff, former M.P. for Brecon and Radnor; much loved husband of Eirlys, fond father of Alyson, Alan and Catherine, close friend of his grandchildren, brothers and son-in-law. Funeral service at the Tabernacle, The Hayes, Cardiff, CF10 1AJ on Wednesday Oct 26 at 1.30pm followed by cremation at Thornhill, Wenallt Chapel at 2.45pm. Family flowers only but donations in lieu, if desired, may be sent to the Tabernacle Organ Fund.

Sad not to have stayed in touch.


Caerwyn was a cousin of mine. I remember meeting him at my grandparents in Ystradgynlais. I was immensley proud of his achievements from afar and would dearly liked to have known him throughout his life and would have been proud to have followed his lead in life.I am very sad he has passed without meeting him again.Condolences to his family and freinds.
