Valerie AnnRODGERSIt is with great sadness that the family of Val Rodgers announce her passing on the morning of 9th September 2023 at the age of 83. She passed away at the Royal Gloucester Hospital peacefully with her daughter by her side.

Much loved mum to Sharon and Mark, mum in law to Lorraine and Karen, loving partner of the late Terry, nana to Vicki, Hayley, Peter and Charlotte and great nana to Archie and auntie to Terri Donna and great auntie to Charlie.

She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by all her family and dear friends.

A service to celebrate and give thanks for Val's life will take place at Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby on Thursday 5th October at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please but donations may be left at the service in aid of Hornsea Inshore Rescue.

My lovely little Auntie Val, you were loved immeasurably and always will be. You were my biggest fan, and the world is worse off without you, and your cuddles in it.

Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
