PatrickROGERSThe family of the late Paddy Rogers (died 11.12.2022) wish to express their sincere thanks & appreciation to all relatives, friends, and neighbours who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. Thanks to all those who called to the house, attended the removal and the funeral Mass, brought Mass cards, sent messages of sympathy and those who provided food and supplies for the wake. A special thanks to Father Sexton for the beautiful Mass at St Aidans, Ballaghameehan, Co Leitrim, Ireland and Jim Connolly for his moving traditional music piece. Also a very special mention to the staff of Sligo University Hospital & North West Hospice and nursing staff & local carers who were all invaluable. Patrick was married to Nuala and is survived by his sons Paul, Dermot (Pauline), Gerald and David (Martina) and his 7 grandchildren. He was born in Moneyneany, South Derry with 6 brothers and 5 sisters, He retired from Strathclyde Police at the rank of Superintendent in 1992 after a 33 year career having worked in Airdrie & Coatbridge, Hamilton and Glasgow Police divisions. He was a member of St Mary's Parish, Cadzow St, Hamilton.
