Dennis CliveROODPassed away peacefully at home on 1st February 2026, aged 94 years.

Devoted husband of Rita, much adored Dad of Alison and son-in-law Andrew, wonderful Grandad of Madeleine, Bryony and Nancy. Respected friend, colleague, and neighbour.

The best of the best. Old Faithful. Forever in our hearts.

Cortege to leave residence on Thursday 12th March, for service at Lelley Fields Crematorium, Birch Hall 12:00.

Resting at Co-op Funeral Care 344 Holderness Road Hull.

Family flowers only please but donations if desired to nominated charities, with collection plate at the service. The family have asked all attending the funeral to wear smart casual dark clothing and if possible something white.

Dennis,
A true gentleman and a great friend to my late dad, Don Westmorland.
Im sure that they will be having a pint discussing Hull and Rovers.
Dennis was my God Father and i still have the Christening Cup that Dennis and Rita bought me in 1963. I will always remember him.

Uncle Dennis, it’s time to say goodbye to someone who always seemed so steady and unchanging — always calm, never seemed to age, quietly plodding along in your own dependable way. You had a gentle calm strength and I have fond memories from childhood of new year's eves at yours with all the family. Your dedication, constancy, patience, and quiet presence will stay with us always. Susan + family xx
