DerekROOKEI am sad to announce the passing of Derek Rooke. Much loved father to Stephen, Jonathan, Helen and Jamie. Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Derek had a full life taking holidays in his French cottage and socialising. He was a keen gardener until his stroke incapacitated him. I miss you not being there dad, watching cricket and football. Sleep soundly. Jamie and Michelle.

You had a full and fruitful life, especially after you had retired and spent a lot of your time in France. You always made me smile, even in the more recent years, when you was struggling after the stroke. I feel so privileged to have known you. Sleep peacefully mate.
