GeorgeROOKSSuddenly but peacefully on Sunday 19th April at Morriston Hospital, George of Dolfain, Penrhos. Beloved husband and soulmate of Gillian, devoted and adored father and father-in-law of Kerry and Rachel. Treasured brother of Ivy and the late Arthur, much dearly and much loved brother-in-law and uncle. George will be greatly missed by all who know and loved him. Due to the Government Guidelines the funeral will be for immediate family only. Donations if so desired in memory of George may be given to Ward A Morriston Hospital kindly received by Roger Castle & Daughter Independent Funeral Directors, 86 Commercial St, Ystalyfera, Swansea. George you were one of a kind,we all loved how you always spoke of your family, you loved a bit of banter as much as we did, the one thing we can say is you will always be remembered by all the staff on Ward A, you were a true gent, our thoughts are with your family, God bless you & sleep tight'Georgie boy'

Such sad news, I always enjoyed a chat with George when I was called into Swansea Tower at night, for all his rough manner, he was a true gent at heart
