MichaelROONEYMike sadly passed away on Thursday 28th August 2025.
He will be forever missed by all who knew him, especially his wife, children, grandchildren and extended family.
Mike's funeral service will be held on Friday 26th September at 10:30am at St Theresa's Church, 53 Front St, Birstall, Leicester LE4 4DQ.
The family have requested no flowers but donations to Loros in Mike's name will be kindly accepted.

A wonderful neighbour and friend. Mike was one of the most helpful, kind and thoughtful person you could meet - he was always so giving with his time and was always there to give a helping hand. I will be forever grateful for the help with my many diy and garden jobs which Mike was always so willing to help with and with a cheery smile.

Rest in peace Mike….you will be deeply missed.

Mike was an amazing neighbour, always ready for a chat and to help with anything that needed a helping hand.

He was always busy with something, especially his favourite, chopping wood..I will miss that regular sound of a chainsaw 😀
