May I take this opportunity to echo my former colleague’s comments (Simon Smith) and say how sorry I am to hear about Tony’s passing. He was a wonderful man, very obliging and a ‘master of his craft’.

I was especially grateful for his help and assistance during blast furnace down-days and when times were hard. He was certainly one of life’s treasures!

My thoughts are with his family and close friends.

Sending our sympathy to 'Tonys' Family, friends and colleagues. Very sad to hear the news on the passing of Tony, will miss our chats going to and fro' to the paper shop discussing the woes of the world. Sadly he hadn't been well recently and he was and will continue to be missed. RIP Tony.

I'm very sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a lovely guy I worked with at the Blast Furnaces before his move to the BOS plant. He always used to do his very best for any task that was presented , with his great smile and humour.
Yes , when Tony moved on , a part of the better things at work were gone.
A good ,nice and very capable man was Tony. Regards and sincere condolence to everyone close to him. SMSmith. B F Scun.
