I first met Sandra about 10 years ago, as members of Heart and Soul choir in Tewkesbury. We often sat together, and helped each other as we learned the alto part, sharing a lot of laughs in doing so! Our friendship grew and extended beyond choir. After Covid, Sandra did not return to choir, so I used to meet up with her for coffee or lunch. She loved a cappuccino - with lots of chocolate on the top! Sometimes in the summer ,latterly, we would take a picnic and sit in the Abbey grounds. She was a quiet, gentle soul, but had a great sense of humour which amused me. I was so saddened to learn of her Passing and I will really miss our fortnightly catch-ups, giggles and her lovely smile.
