MargaretROSTHORNOn 22nd January 2023 Margaret Rosthorn, of Accrington, passed away peacefully aged 70 years. Margaret leaves her husband, Alan, of 50 years, son Jason, his partner Leanne and her two granddaughters Tyoni and Tilly Mae. Margaret was the youngest daughter of the late Mrs. O. Sharrock and the late Mr H. Sharrock. She leaves her sister Patricia and brother David and her late brothers Maurice and Albert, she was a dear sister-in-law to Jennifer and Bert, Malcolm and Carmel and Linda and Paul, a sadly missed sister-in-law to Eric and Ann, the late Brenda, Pauline, Philip and Jennifer, and daughter-in-law of the late Arnold, Janie, Clifford and Ethel, she also leaves many much loved nephews and nieces Margaret had many jobs throughout her working life beginning in the accounts department of Rediffusion television rental company, and then a short time at Associated Dairies followed by many years at Textile Mouldings. She ended her working life as a Carer with Broadfield Care Services until retirement due to ill health. She had many hobbies including: knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, reading and holidays in Europe but her greatest love was her garden and was greatly saddened when ill health forced her to give this up. Margaret's Celebration of life service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday 8th February at 11.40am prior to raising a glass in Margaret's memory at Peel Park Hotel Turkey Street Accrington. Many thanks to all doctors, nurses and staff at the AMU and "C" wards at Royal Blackburn Hospital and Paramedics from the Ambulance Service for all their help and kindness.
