LizROWETTMusician, Painter and Photographer of St Austell, Liz passed away peacefully at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice, St Austell on September 6th 2023, after a lengthy illness. Liz taught me flute some 35 years ago... I remember her like it was yesterday and owe her a great deal. My flute has given me years of pleasure playing in concert, jazz & folk bands. Even now at 50, playing 3 times a week with a wonderful tai chi teacher, singer, guitarist & composer, I am getting more joy from music than ever before... and it all started with Liz. Rest in peace Liz, love Kerrie xxx

Dear Liz - taught me the flute at St Austell Grammar School when she was a very young teacher. Then became my colleague and dear friend when we both taught for Cornwall Music Service under James Sergeant then John Harries. Bravery faced ill health for many years.
