AlanROWLANDSWe are heartbroken to share that Alan passed away suddenly but peacefully on September 9th 2025, aged 71 of Gwalchmai (previously of Bodorgan).

Doting and loving partner of his soul mate Emily, father of Annest, Marcus, Myles and Harriet, stepfather of Mike, Mair, Lucy and Beth, loving grandfather of Elin, Lois, Alice, Lwsi, Elsa and Bobi. He will be deeply missed by his beloved sausage dog Dottie.

Private family service at Minafon Chapel of Rest, Glanhwfa Road, Llangefni on Monday 13th October at 12.30pm. Followed by public service at Bangor Crematorium at 1.30pm.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly request donations in his memory towards Wales Air Ambulance c/o the funeral director Melvin Rowlands Minafon Chapel of Rest, Glanhwfa Road, Llangefni, Anglesey, LL77 7FE. Telephone: 01248 723111

Very saddened to learn of Alan’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Alan for several years at Royal Mail. A man with a very big heart and quick wit. A true gentleman. Condolences to Emily and their family. He will be truly missed.
