Shirley JeanROWLANDSShirley passed away peacefully on Thursday, 9th April 2026 at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, aged 90 years. Formerly of Twickenham and then Chester, before moving to Queen Elizabeth Court, Llandudno to be closer to family.
Shirley was the loving wife of the late John, much loved mum of Bronwen and Edward and their partners, Martin and Clare, a devoted grandma to Ben, Sam and Caitlin and Ben's partner, Toni and a treasured great grandma to Poppy and Alfie. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of Shirley's life will take place at Colwyn Bay Crematorium on Tuesday, 5th May 2026 at 12.30pm. At the families request, please wear a splash of red, pink or purple in memory of Shirley.
Family flowers only please. If you wish to make a donation in memory of Shirley, they will be gratefully accepted towards Dementia UK.
