The obituary notice of David Charles RUDD

There are a million wonderful things I could write about my Grandad - He gave me my first pint and always took me to the pub with him even when my mum said no. He was a character who loved a laugh and adored Southampton FC.
For the last 5 years he has been an invaluable part of my daughters life and he relished being a Great Grandfather. Some of my most cherished memories is watching them both together.

You will be missed beyond words Grandad, we loved you dearly.

When I joined Ford in 1985, Dave was one of the first people I met in the Accounting department. He was a humble, warm-hearted man who immediately took me under his wing. Beyond his kindness, Dave was instrumental in my growth, providing invaluable guidance as I pursued my accounting qualifications. Throughout my career, he remained a steadfast mentor and a guiding light. He was a truly special man who will be deeply missed.
