JamesRUSHTONPeacefully at rest on Sunday 26th January 2025 whilst in the compassionate care of the DougieMac hospice and surrounded by his loving and devoted family, Jim, aged 77 years of Blurton. Jim was the much loved and devoted husband of Isabel, the beloved and greatly missed dad of Steven, the much loved father-in-law of Amy and the adored grandad of Freddie and Alfie. Jim was beloved by his sister, Sandy, brother David and the late Peter. Jim was a cherished brother-in-law to Martin and Gail and a treasured uncle to Claire and Adrian, Vicki and Carl, Jody and Dave, George, Liam and Amy, Josh and Connor. Jim will be sadly missed but remembered with great affection by all his family, friends and his colleagues in the refereeing fraternity. Jim requested a private cremation but a celebration of his life will take place at a future date. Donations in memory of Jim can be made directly to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Barlaston Road, Stoke-on-Trent. ST3 3NZ or in person at the celebration venue.

I have known Jim for the past 50 years and I have to say that Jim, like his Dad, was a genuine Gentleman. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Sincere condolences to his loving family.
