Sunrise 18th November 1942 Peacefully passed away at home with her family around her. Sunset 23rd January 2024.

Pearline was the daughter of the late Cecil and Winnifred Muir. Beloved wife of Samuel Russell and loving mother to Barrington and Mark.

Pearline was a midwife sister at the Derby Royal Hospital, where she delivered countless babies.

She will be greatly missed by all her family and all who knew her. Husband Samuel, Sons Barrington and Mark, 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. Sisters Rose, Maureen, Delores and Marilyn. Brothers Sefton, Louis, Clifton and Curtis.

Pearline's funeral will be held at St Augustine Church, Upper Dale Road, Derby DE23 8BP on Monday 19th February 2024 at 10am followed by an interment at Nottingham Road Cemetery, Nottingham Road, Derby DE21 6AS.

Family have requested that bright colours can be worn.

Family flowers only please. Donations to Parkinson's Society will be greatly appreciated.

My condolences to her family. I worked alongside Pearl at the Royal Derby Hospital. She was kind and immensely knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Pearl was a great mentor and colleague. Rest in Peace.
