RUTHERFORD JOSEPH (JOE)With great sadness, the family would like to announce that Joe passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on the 1st July 2013 aged 60 years. A loving husband to Brenda, cherished father to Jason and Emma, and father-in-law to Sarah and Gary. A wonderful Grandad to his three grandsons Harrison, William and Tyler, and granddaughters Charlotte, Amy and Holly. Always loved and missed forever. The funeral service will be held on Friday 12th July at 9:30a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Candleby Lane, Cotgrave, followed by a family burial at Wilford Hill Cemetery. It was Joe's wish that friends gather at the Cotgrave Miners' Welfare after the service, to celebrate his life. No flowers please. Donations if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support on the day.
