Edwin (Eddie)RUTHERFORD(Gateshead)Peacefully on July 31st aged 85 years. Eddie, much loved husband of Audrey. Adored dad of Ian and Denise and special father in law of Jo and Simon. Fantastic grandad and role model to David, Daniel, Jacki and Jodi, loving great grandad to Henry and Isla. Beloved brother of Sheila, Norman and the late Eric. Also a dear brother in law, uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Friends please meet for service at St Nicholas Church , Dunston on Thursday August 10th at 1.00pm, no black please a splash of colour may be worn if desired. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to support The Alzheimer's Society in the fantastic work they do. Donations can be made via a retiring collection at the Church. A private family burial will follow the service, all are welcome to await the family's return at Felling Cricket Club, High Heworth to continue the celebration of Eddie's life.
